A cute little ladybug & a big strong Spiderman stopped by to collect some goodies.


Then we heard a little cute bumble bee was flying around & we just had to go and check her out.
She wasn't to sure what it's all about, but she did enjoy herself & the candy.

Looks like her daddy dressed up in her grandpa's old race jersy from the 80's.

Mother Nature not playing well

I'm pretty sure it's still Fall and the leaves should have turned a beautiful yellow, orange and red. Kind of like this....

At least the sun came out & melted it all away this afternoon.

Someone is having a birthday & I so wish I could be there to spend it with you.
I really should spend it with you here in the States before you move halfway across the world to Italy.

We grew up together & went everywhere together. We could of been sisters. Heck, I feel like you are my sister at times. I even tried to find some pictures of us growing up, wearing our matching little Easter dresses or other outfits Grandma would make for us. Your lucky I didn't find any. I'm sure my mom has a lot I can post later.

I know it's been years, but there are things I still remember when we were really young. I can remember getting in trouble for talking after we would go to bed. (we so thought we were just whispering & your mom would never hear us) lol.
I remember us walking to your house for lunch during school & you would take your Doritos & put them inside your tuna sandwich. (and why did I have to eat my crust, but you never had to?)
I remember driving your mom's big old Pontiac & you ducking down in the front seat because you were so embarrassed.
Christmas we would open our presents at the exact same time, because we knew we would be getting the exact same thing.
Going to the desert & riding in the back seat of your dad's dune buggie. We would snuggle up in a blanket & go for night rides.
Going to a Charger game once in awhile (when I liked the other team)
Going to the Holiday Bowl between BYU & Ohio State. You didn't like either team, but you went with me anyways. (thanks to your dad & his season Chargers tickets)
Great times & memories growing up. Where did the time go?

Even after I moved 800 miles away, we seem to get together when we could.
Either playing in the sun in sunny California. On the beaches of San Diego (or in your pool)

Hanging out in Park City, freezing our butts off!!!

No matter where we were, we always had a good time.

New Queen in Town

I just got the word! Our neice is the new Cattle Call Queen of 2010!
We are so PROUD of her. So sorry we couldn't make the trip, and after finding out it went almost ALL NIGHT, we would of never been able to get back on the road at the crack of dawn to come home. Heck, her mom & her were driving thru "Jacks" at 2am!!! WTH?? I'm not sure you can get REAL Beef there! (Kidding, as I love those kanagroo tacos. They're my favorite. *wink*)

Good job Mac!!! Like I told you this morning.....NEVER A DOUBT!!!

Nicole's October BFF

Someone at work has a BFF that only shows up around the beginning of October.

Sometimes he just pops up at unknown locations during the middle of the night.
He loves to surprise her, and she is very surprised to see him as well.
Sometimes she even puts him in what she likes to think as "the witness protection program", so that no one can find him. We think that maybe she just doesn't want to share him with the rest of us.
We really wish her friend could stick around all year. He's so friendly & always has a smile on his face. He ALWAYS has Nicole's back. Sometimes he just appears behind her out of the blue & sometimes scares her cause he's so quiet.

Well looks like he's MIA once again. I think Nicole has him "protected" once again. I hope they have a "Happy Halloween" together!

Update: He's been found. For some reason he appeared under her desk when she left the area. She just called out...."Man Down"!

30 Years

Can you believe it? I'm not sure I can. It's been 30 loving, hard, fun ,amazing, fulfilled, unbelievable, stressfull, eventful, trying, incredible, overwhelming, surprising and just plain wonderful years of marriage. No one ever said it would be easy, but that's what makes life interesting (I guess).

We couldn't decide on what to do for the big 30, and my husband said we needed to go somewhere & do something for the weekend. Of course he said "camping" and then he ducked behind the couch quickly. I thought as fun as that sounded *cough cough*, I would pass. He would ask me everyday what I wanted to do. (HELLO, surprise me)!! But then again, that's not my hubby style. He has learned over 30 years that sometimes that doesn't work or I end up not happy with his choice. (see the camping quote) So I decided to surprise him. I wanted to go to Jackson Hole, but decided that was just a little to far & I'm sure it's getting cold up there. I then looked around Park City & they just had to many resorts for me to look through in such a short period of time. I decided on Sundance. I lucked out as that weekend they were having a arts/crafts fair (the hubby's favorite...NOT). They had a band that was playing that night in the bar and since it was a Full Moon that weekend, you could ride the ski lift chair up the mountain & cuddle in a blanket (bring your own).
What can I say. We had a FANTASTIC Time.
Our room had that log cabin look to it & was just beautiful. It had a little kitchen with real wine glasses & coffee cups. No plastic! You had your choice of coffee, tea, hot cocoa & apple cider. We had a toaster, fridge & microwave. Tv, Stereo, fireplace, DVD/VCR player, Ipod docking station/radio. .Here's us on the ski lift for the moon lit ride. Yes I over-dressed as it really wasn't that cold, but it was fun. We even saw a deer that night on the ride under that bright moon.
I will post more about our trip later. The mountains were just beautiful.

Say what??

Ok, I had loaded some pictures last week & was going to do another birthday post & thought it would just pop up the day I finished up the post, but it doesn't. It pop's up on the day I loaded the pictures. This is not fair! People are not going to scroll back down to see if they missed anything. If any of you bloggers out there know if or how I can move the post up to the top of the page, please share that info with me.

I'm glad I didn't just go & upload a bunch of pictures thinking I would just get around to them when I felt like it. I could just see myself 2 months from now finishing a post up & no one would ever read it because it would be on another page. UGHHHHHHHHHH.

Yes, someone has finally caught up to me. We are finally the same age.
