Scratch that itch

So I think the hubby has an itch that he really needs to scratch, and I for one thinks he should just run down to the closest Walgreens & get some medication for that itch! Since the family is getting bigger, he thinks we might need a bigger trailer (aka: the itch) Now as much as I would like to have a newer, bigger, trailer, I can find just as many reasons NOT to have a bigger trailer to clean.

This weekend my husband asked me if I would like to go to the RV Show.( Hmmmm, let me think of a nice way to say "No".) My answer to his question was of course with another question...."Don't you have things to do around the house, like fix the siding on the house"? **bad me** Of course my adorable hubby replies..." what does that have to do with my question"? Well, I being a woman and all thought it had alot to do with his question. Guess I was wrong. (did I just say I was wrong?)

We end up going as I lucked out & found a 2 for 1 coupon on the internet. So I thought I would go along for the exercise. Nothing says "work-out" like walking up & down rows & rows of trailers. And don't forget those steps in & out of the trailers. After our hour+ work out, we really didn't see anything that caught our eye. We had to admit there were some WAY over the top, high end fancy smancy trailers, but for camping??? Really?? There were a few that had a place to put your flat screen TV outside on a little "pull-out" so you could sit by the fire & watch it. **rolling my eyes**. There was a motor home with a sign on the door "By appointment only"! We thought we should make an appointment for 15 years down the road!!
As my husband would go inside one, he would start figuring out which grandkid would sleep in which bed. There were a few with "lofts" just above the kitchen.(cute for the girls) We only saw a hand full of trailers with full size type tables. (some families still eat at the table people)! The rest were like TV trays (those I crossed off my wish list right away) We even saw a trailer with a fireplace just below the extra wide flat screen TV. RE-donk-U-lous I tell you!!! I think we'll just keep the trailer we have for now. There is nothing wrong with it that a little Benedryl & calamine lotion won't cure!

Benadryl and calamine are cheaper too! A big trailer is not what makes for the good times, its the memories you make while there!! Look who's talking the girl with the big trailer!! :) LOL I love camping, always have, always will!! One the the greatest gifts my parents gave me, thanks mom and dad! Keep up the posts, it is Great seeing you and your beautiful family (even if it is only in pictures) I love you and miss you my friend!! XOXOXO
